About Itahari International College

Itahari International College has embarked on a journey of providing higher education in the Eastern region of Nepal. It is a joint partnership between Islington College (Kathmandu), Vishwa Adarsha College (Itahari), and Godawari College (Itahari). It is the first college to provide a direct UK university degree in Itahari. It has directly partnered with London Metropolitan University, and this partnership is committed to producing intellectuals who can compete globally. Thus, Itahari International College is able to offer BSc (Hons) Computing and BA (Hons) Business Administration degree based on a “support-delivery” model. Itahari International College is one of the flagship institutions of the Innovate Nepal Group (ING).

Admission

Interested students who have completed or appeared their higher secondary final exams can directly apply to the college with their academic certificates, citizenship certificate or passport or birth certificate or citizenship of either of the parents. The students awaiting results can get provisional admissions. Once at the college, the admission team will assess the entry requirement mentioned below and assist in the admission process. Applicants should be a minimum 18 years of age and should possess the minimum qualifications mentioned hereunder.

Entry Requirement

NEB 10+2 overall aggregate of 2.2 CGPA (55%) or above, Year 12 English grade ‘B’ (60%) or above, and SLC Mathematics score of 50% above with each subject theory and practical grade D+ or above or
2 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades A to C or 3 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades D and above; and General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.
Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English requirements can substitute with the following English Tests: IELTS 5.5 and above (minimum score of 5.5 in each component) or Pearson Test of English Score above 47.

Students not meeting the Entry Requirements will have to pursue iAcademy’s University Foundation Certificate (UFC). UFC is a one year academic programme awarded by iAcademy (New Zealand) and articulated with advanced standing by London Metropolitan University (UK).

NEB 10+2 overall aggregate of 1.8 CGPA (45%) or above, Year 12 English grade ‘C’ (45%) or above, and SLC Mathematics score of 50% above with each subject theory and practical grade ‘D+’ or above or
2 ‘A’ level subject passes, and a pass in General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.
Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English requirements can substitute with the following English Tests: IELTS 4.5 and above or Pearson Test of English Score above 37.

*All other qualifications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by London Metropolitan University.
