About Nepal MEGA College
Introduction
Nepal MEGA College, centrally located at Babarmahal, Kathmandu, is an academic institution of higher learning established by senior professors, dynamic lecturers and successful entrepreneurs in order to impart quality education and to produce world class manpower as per demand of the country and even of the global community. It has clear vision to develop a mega centre of academic excellence founded on value-based academic principles and is determined to accomplish the mission.
Features
The college cultivates excellence in teaching and learning. It provides the students with an open, caring and multi-cultural learning environment built on the core values of integrity, responsibility and dignity. It has got highly qualified and experienced faculty and well-equipped laboratories on par with many of the premiere institutions. With the changing paradigm of higher education and new demands of learners, we have adopted the innovative methods of teaching and learning. We have the effort to foster a culture of curiosity and creativity through research and project works, presentation based classes and group discussion. Field work, Internship, Computer and Accounting package, Entrance Preparation Classes and Personality Development Programs and other seminars receive adequate coverage at MEGA.
Courses
Currently, MEGA has offered NEB programs in the streams of Science, Management and Humanities and TU affiliated Bachelor’s programs like BBS and BA with Social Work. Besides these, the college is in the process of upgrading it with other academic programs like B.Sc., M.A. (English and RD) and MBS. It has a master plan to introduce short term market-oriented Diplomas, and many other professional courses to meet the demand of our country.
