Situated at Kumaripati, Lalitpur, and established in 1997, United Academy affiliated with National Education Board (NEB), Nepal is a secondary school for Science, Management and Humanities. Over a period of twenty-one years, it has developed into a most sought-after school for higher secondary education in Kathmandu valley. During this period UA has expanded into a junior wing, United School up to SEE level and a senior wing, United College for BBS, BCA, BBM and MBS programs affiliated with Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

Any student who has passed SEE or equivalent exams (ICSE, CBSE) is eligible to apply for admission at UA.
Faculty Minimum requirement
Science Minimum GPA: 3.0 with Optional Mathematics.
Minimum Grade point: C+ in all subjects.
Management and Humanities Minimum GPA: 2.0
Minimum Grade point: C in all subjects.
However, all the prospective students are required to pass the Entrance test on:
Compulsory English, Optional Mathematics, Compulsory Mathematics and General Science for Science stream.
Compulsory English and Compulsory Mathematics for streams of Management and Humanities.
Admission will be granted on the basis of merit list of the entrance test. The Academy has the right to reject applications with incomplete information and papers. The final stage of a selection process consists of an interview with subject experts.
United Academy offers a scholarship to deserving students on the basis of their merit and financial condition.
Every year ‘Best Student Award’ is given to first, second and third student of each grade and faculty. The selection is entirely based on the result of the annual examinations. In addition, to encourage the students, UA provides Academic awards to the students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in every terminal examination.

Note: Selection is based on 75% entrance exam and 25% SEE GPA
The Academy also provides 100% scholarship to grade 11 students (from each faculty) securing 1st, 75% to students securing 2nd and 50% to students 3rd position in the NEB examination.
