Patriotism - a poem by Sakar

Written by Sakar Poudel

Down the valley, over the hills

Near the cascades, beside the mills.

Hear the nightingale, spring they bring

Feel the glory, patriot a being.

East to West and North to South;

Never have I retarded shouting aloud;

Save the nation, lead it to peace;

Never mind getting wet catching a fish.

Listen hey youths! Gold is in your land

Effort is in your unity getting it refined.

Leave solitude behind, unity is the most.

Freedom is your wealth and illiteracy is the pest.

“NIX” is invincible in youths’ joint power;

Beat trumpet of peace as loud and thunder.

Then hear the skylarks, on them they sing;

Fell the glory patriot a being.
