Introduction to BSc. Nursing
The largest group of workers in the health sector are those in the nursing occupations as nurses and nursing assistants. In a hospital from the general ward to the operating theater, nursing forms an integral part. This is one of the few domains of work that is almost totally dominated by women.

Nursing duties are manifold and cover a wide range of functions and responsibilities, that depends on the level of qualification and the working environment. At the initial level, nurses are required for the bedside care of patients, while at a senior level they are required to manage a special group of people like psychiatric, intensive care patients which require specialized skills. They are also involved in dispensing medication, keeping records of the patient’s progress, setting up and operating medical equipment, administration, and several other routine tasks.

This field is both mentally and physically demanding and nurses are often exposed to health risks from infectious diseases. As such this profession demands long hours of work and duties which incorporate both skill and understanding of patients needs. Those who come forward to take up this as a career has to be patient, courageous, have a service mentality and at the same time be ready to work extra hours even night shifts.

Gravitation
Every object in our universe attracts the other object with certain force towards its center. This force of attraction is known as GRAVITATIONAL FORCE and the phenomenon is called GRAVITATION. This is gravitational force which is responsible for the uniformity or regularity in our daily astronomical life. The whole system of the universe is in order only due to this force. Due to gravitation, the system of our universe is working uniformly and smoothly. The planets around the earth or around the sun moves in an orderly motion due to gravitation.

Newton's Law of Gravitation

In order to explain the gravitational force between two bodies, Newton formulated a fundamental law known after his name i.e. “NEWTON’S LAW OF GRAVITATION”

Newton’s law of gravitation states thatevery object in the universe attracts the other object with a force and :

(1) The gravitational force of attraction between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses.

Introduction to Pharmacy
Pharmacy is a scientific profession requiring a high level of education and training. At present, there are 4 universities running the undergraduate (4 Year BPharm) programme in pharmacy in Nepal. The total number of institutions that offer Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) and are approved by the council is 15. Pharmacy degrees including Diploma in Pharmacy (Pharmacy Assistant level) are approved by the Nepal Pharmacy Council (NPC), to ensure that students have received appropriate education for their professional registration and subsequent development and careers. The entry for degree level courses in pharmacy is after the completion of 12 years of formal schooling in science stream or its equivalent.

Nepal Pharmacy Council has adopted NPC Guidelines for the Accreditation of Pharmacy Degree Programmes in 2003 and NPC Norms for Establishment of New Pharmacy Degree College for First Year (to start with) and Approval Process of the New College in 2004.

In addition, NPC has adopted approval criteria and guidelines for 3-year Diploma Level (Pharmacy Assistant level) colleges in Nepal. There are 29 such colleges under the affiliation of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). The entry for this level is after the completion of 10 years of formal schooling.

What after SLC?

It must always be noted that there is no single step in a ladder. End of school life is just the beginning of maturity. Time to confine oneself in boundaries has ended. Now one must create a boundary of their own, make their own rules, and act stupendously to be at the top at some point in their life. After S.L.C., one childish and unbecoming step can completely shatter one’s dreams. Now, by overshadowing the ongoing spoon-feeding system, it is the time to pick the spoon full of dedication and have a mouth full by ourselves. The time of dependency has shut itself and one must learn to live up to their dreams themselves. Therefore, it is you who must further decide about how long stride and how much high you must leap while climbing the stairs of success to reach the apex of your dreams. After all your dreams are in your hand and your one right decision can blossom it till the end.

After SLC, there always arises a big confusion among students about in which college to enroll, which faculty to choose and which step will act as the best porter to mold mind in the appropriate way. Moreover, there is a separate expectation from the family, society, and peer pressure. No matter how much pressure these factors put in you and how much influence it can create; you must always know that it is your life, your dreams and your hard work and your success. You must be able to make your own decision that will suit your priority, interest, capacity and your dedication. It is stupid to think that SLC marks are the one to decide about faculty and aim. No matter how much consistent and hardworking you are and how much supportive your family, society, and friends are, if you lack dedication and interest you will just lead yourself into frustration. It will not only create a huge obstacle in your life. And you will lag behind when your counterparts will already be in another step of the ladder.

There is just need of your complete satisfaction on whatever subject you choose for your further study. Every faculty is vast. Never discriminate any subject. Just do good in what you choose and you will be the master. College is the second step. Remember pressure only will fear you; fear you of not being able to stand up to the expectation, fear of dissatisfaction, fear of failure, fear of frustration, fear of loss of time and fear of life. Be a self-creator and don’t mimic what others do. Don’t run behind your friends. If you can’t be able to choose what’s best for you, the ones who are the world to you will start to mock you in the near future. Have the highest belief in yourself and have a strong competent and it will lead to your best.

Introduction to Chartered Accountancy
Chartered Accountancy (CA) is a Professional course in Accountancy. Although the title “Accountancy” is used, the course of CA is broader in that apart from Financial Accounting, it has core subjects of study as Auditing, Business Law, Corporate Law, Financial Management, Information Technology, Cost and Management Accountancy, and Taxation. The course is designed in such a way that the Chartered Accountants are recognized as complete business solution providers immediately upon passing the course.

For Students from Nepal, the Chartered Accountancy can be done either from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) or from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). CA from both the Institutes (ICAN and ICAI) has 3 levels with a total duration of 4.5 years with a compulsory practical training of 3 years while doing the final level which is called articleship training. In case the Course opts for the ICAI, the students complete the first 2 levels of course from Nepal itself and need to go to India for the 3 years of Articleship at the final level. In case of ICAN, the articleship training and the whole course will be completed from Nepal itself.
