Leadership Hour is designed to enhance skills and knowledge of young minds and help them in their career path. We have so far conducted leadership hour focusing on youths from different educational levels and age groups. Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, and personality development are essentials that an individual must have but these are also the components that a student rarely emphasizes while they’re in school.

The workshop will focus on these components and help them choose the right path for themselves. The workshop will act as a platform to grow their interpersonal and professional skills. With these skills in hand, they can then work to achieve their dreams and ambitions while contemplating on their strength and weaknesses.

The event consists of sessions from experts from different fields and renowned personalities. You will have an opportunity to interact with these experts, learn from them and hear their stories. The event is filled with such interaction, games, learning activities and much more. Not only you’ll have fun but also get a chance to make friends from around the nation.

Suddenly, right after the completion of your NEB Board exams, you are tensed. Your mind is pre-occupied and you are in dilemma what next to do and what not to? Is this correct for me or not? Will this field help me to accomplish the dream I had at the start or will it create more confusions to me? These and others of these kinds of questions will surely hover in your mind as well. So, what is the alternative? What should I do? This friend of mine has got a scholarship in this country and is going to study there and several others have already decided their destiny and has nothing to do more than admission now. Oh! And, that friend of mine has already started working at a good company.

Our humble suggestion to you at the start is to relax. Nothing has been wrong yet, nothing will be wrong. You are still on the right track, and you will surely be if you think with a cool head. There can be many obstacles in your path to success, it can be delayed. But if you keep working towards it; it’ll come to you. You must be brave enough to shoot your cowardice and enhance what you have learned till now in your practical life.

Remember, we can only suggest you. It’s you who need to embrace it in a way that best suits you. Below are three stages you’ll go through during this phase of life and our suggestion for each of it.

First of all, know your capability. Think what you are interested in. No job is big or small but your mentality is. Set up your mind in the field where you can be perfect, where you can be one of the best in the world. Seek deep inside you; you have the capability to change things around you. When Bill Gates started his company, he started small but now, it speaks for itself. So, if he can do why can’t you? Just don’t think of the possibility, do it!

Consider choosing a field in which you are interested to join. Not because someone else wants you to do so or you did so just because some of your close friends joined it as well. Since, you are the one to live your life, not your family members, friends or relatives think carefully before making a decision.

Secondly, once you set up your mind on what next to do. Your other task will be to confirm whether you would like to accomplish that in your own nation or in abroad. If it’s in your own country, look for colleges to get your degree; if its job, look for ones that best suits you. However, if you consider continuing your education or career in a foreign land think which county you would like to be in and also prepare for the tests like IELTS, SAT, GRE, and others as relevant. If you set a target and work upon it, you surely can achieve.

Consider where to study and set your mind to accomplish the goal at any cost. Work towards it.

Finally, once you sort our where you want to continue with your life, promise yourself that you’ll give your fullest to get admitted to the shortlisted university in the nation of your choice. If it doesn’t work out, try for the next intake and if you don’t want to wait; go for the next option – don’t lose hope. And, remember it’s you at the end of the day rather than just another college.

We just want to say that, the dream of your own career and further study must be balanced and equalized. There must be a proper balance between your present requirement, ability, interest and your future career. In whatever field you choose to dive or in whichever country you want to continue, you must give your 100% dedication and consistency. Even If you fall back at some point in your life, you must rather stand up and walk through a new path than to retreat. Never give up and think with your head. We wish you all best of luck for your successful career ahead.

Young Leaders Committee (YoLC)

Young Leaders Committee (YoLC) is a youth network of like-minded people that aims to hone the skills and personality of its members. The members of YoLC would participate in different workshops and will be provided a platform to improve on their leadership, public speaking, personality development, networking, and presentation skills during their involvement in the committee.

Further, young leaders would be made acquainted with real-life problems hidden inside our communities through field visits and educational tours. If the members are able to come up with any innovative problem-solving ideas, the team will always be ready to provide the required resources and support for implementing the idea. We believe that this committee will encourage and help these young leaders to excel in their academics and social empathy and give meaning to what they are learning as youths, the “present” of the nation.

What after SLC?

It must always be noted that there is no single step in a ladder. End of school life is just the beginning of maturity. Time to confine oneself in boundaries has ended. Now one must create a boundary of their own, make their own rules, and act stupendously to be at the top at some point in their life. After S.L.C., one childish and unbecoming step can completely shatter one’s dreams. Now, by overshadowing the ongoing spoon-feeding system, it is the time to pick the spoon full of dedication and have a mouth full by ourselves. The time of dependency has shut itself and one must learn to live up to their dreams themselves. Therefore, it is you who must further decide about how long stride and how much high you must leap while climbing the stairs of success to reach the apex of your dreams. After all your dreams are in your hand and your one right decision can blossom it till the end.

After SLC, there always arises a big confusion among students about in which college to enroll, which faculty to choose and which step will act as the best porter to mold mind in the appropriate way. Moreover, there is a separate expectation from the family, society, and peer pressure. No matter how much pressure these factors put in you and how much influence it can create; you must always know that it is your life, your dreams and your hard work and your success. You must be able to make your own decision that will suit your priority, interest, capacity and your dedication. It is stupid to think that SLC marks are the one to decide about faculty and aim. No matter how much consistent and hardworking you are and how much supportive your family, society, and friends are, if you lack dedication and interest you will just lead yourself into frustration. It will not only create a huge obstacle in your life. And you will lag behind when your counterparts will already be in another step of the ladder.

There is just need of your complete satisfaction on whatever subject you choose for your further study. Every faculty is vast. Never discriminate any subject. Just do good in what you choose and you will be the master. College is the second step. Remember pressure only will fear you; fear you of not being able to stand up to the expectation, fear of dissatisfaction, fear of failure, fear of frustration, fear of loss of time and fear of life. Be a self-creator and don’t mimic what others do. Don’t run behind your friends. If you can’t be able to choose what’s best for you, the ones who are the world to you will start to mock you in the near future. Have the highest belief in yourself and have a strong competent and it will lead to your best.

Question Pattern:
Question pattern has been designed with a view to test various capabilities of the students. Questions have been designed to make wide coverage of the curriculum. Therefore, three types of question pattern have been managed in the question paper as follows:

1. Brief Answer Questions - These questions requires no description, which can be answered in not more than two minutes; the students will give direct answer to the question. This type of question is asked to evaluate the conceptual or fundamental knowledge of the students about the subject matter.

2. Short Answer Questions - These question requires brief description which can be answered in maximum of 15 minutes. This type of question is asked to evaluate the descriptive capacity of the students.

3. Comprehensive Answer Questions - These questions require a long description to each question. This type of question is asked to evaluate the comprehensive or analytical knowledge of the students about the subject matter. The students may require about 30 minutes per question to answer.

After the evaluation of the answer sheets of the students containing the above mentioned questions, the teacher will understand level of knowledge of the students about the subject matter and his writing skill. In addition, the students will be able to manage time in the examination room to complete the entire questions within the given time period i.e, three hours. This will also help the concerned teachers in giving necessary instructions to the students.

8. Group effort: management directs group efforts to the accomplishment of organizational goal. It is a collective force of group efforts of persons.

9. Intangible: management is an intangible activity which cannot be seen. It is bound by a web relationship between levels of employees. It makes and enforces rules for better results. It can be judged by its effectiveness on the basis of objectives

10. Social process: management is concerned with inter-relations and human behavior. Management creates mutual understanding and cooperation among the employees. Management jobs are related to the human actions.
