40% Of Valley People Fully Vaccinated

COVID-19 has been given major attention by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who has launched an efficient immunization campaign against it. With the immunization program being the government’s top priority, 40% of individuals in the Kathmandu Valley have now got both vaccine doses.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has given COVID-19 special attention, launching an effective immunization campaign against it. With the government’s first focus being immunization, 40 percent of people in the Kathmandu Valley have already received both vaccine doses.

According to the Ministry of Health and Human Services, 6,262,780 people have received their first dose of vaccination and 5,752,853 people have been fully vaccinated. According to the latest MoHP data, 156,018 vaccination doses were delivered in the last 24 hours.

The government is successfully launching a statewide vaccination program with the goal of supplying vaccine against COVID-19 to 33% of the population by mid-October. Prime Minister Deuba had previously asked responsible agencies to make the required arrangements for all of the targeted citizens to get vaccinated by mid-April next year.

Meanwhile, our Bara correspondent reports that more than 800,000 individuals in Province 2 have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine.
As of Tuesday, 846,000 people had been vaccinated against COVID-19, according to data from the Province’s Health Directorate.

Among them, 801,418 people have received both doses and are fully vaccinated.

More people in Bara district have gotten COVID-19 vaccine, according to Dr. Bijay Kumar Jha, the directorate’s chief. According to Dr. Jha, 132,582 patients have gotten complete doses of COVID-19 vaccination. Similarly, 92,170 persons in Dhanusa, 85,645 in Mahottari, and 126,070 in Sarlahi were vaccinated.

Likewise, 79,331 people have received the jab in Rautahat, 104,917 people in Parsa, 880,027 people in Saptari and 920,673 people in Siraha.

In the province, COVID-19 vaccines such as Covishield, Vero Cell, Johnson and Johnson, and AstraZeneca are being provided.

According to Dr. Jha, the vaccine is being distributed through several immunization centers established up at various hospitals, health centers, primary health centers, and health posts around the Province. Dr. Jha stated that the immunization effort in Province 2 began in January of this year.
