Each ice bucket challenge, they always talk about the ALS disease and talks about making a donation and nominates three people before poring an ice water over their head. This video’s main motive is to create awareness about ALS and to make people donate for the cause to eradicate this dangerous disease.
Many people have heard about ALS but many people aren’t aware about this disease. ALS, also known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a muscular degenerative disorder that affects the muscle neurons of the body. Eventually, it leads to paralysis, vital organ failure and, in some cases, death.
The ALS Association has received over $14 million in donations after the trend of Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral in popular networking sites like Facebook, Youtube & Vine. During the same time period last year, a huge boost from the $1.7 million in donations during the same time period last year.
