Aviation Museum Comes Into Operation In Nepalgunj

Aviation museum comes into operation in Nepalgunj.

On the occasion of Maghi (Makar Sakranti), an aircraft museum at Belaspur, Nepalgunj, which is aimed at tourists from western Nepal and India, was opened.

The museum, which was previously housed in Dhangadhi, was relocated to Nepalgunj and reopened.

Captain Bed Upreti, the museum’s director, predicted that a huge number of people from all around western Nepal and India will visit the museum, which was built with a Rs. 18 million investment.

He explained that the museum was established with the goals of providing students with information about airplanes and assisting in the growth of both internal and external tourism.

According to Upreti, the huge aircraft also houses more than 200 different aviation models. He also mentioned that the museum has 30 of the best images of Western Nepal and the Everest region.

It is rumored that discounted tickets have been arranged for school pupils.

Previously, the museum in Dhangadhi was visited by a great number of tourists from various places in Nepal and India.

The museum was relocated to Nepalgunj after the local administration refused to offer land in Dhangadhi, according to Upreti.

He stated that the museum was established in Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-12’s Children’s Park, where the museum was given the necessary land.

According to Shree Ram Sigdel, a tourism entrepreneur from Banke, the museum would play a key role in attracting local and Indian tourists.

He claims that Nepalgunj’s fun parks and water parks are now attracting a big number of visitors.
