The 27th edition of CAN Infotech 2021 will be held in a hybrid format, with physical events held in the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall as well as online events, according to the CAN Federation, the event’s organizer.
From February 1 to 6, 2022, the country’s greatest show of information and communication technologies will take place.
Last year, it was put on hold owing to the coronavirus outbreak and ensuing shutdown. The event was rescheduled for May 2020, but the exhibition was disrupted by the second wave of COVID-19.
“The virtual organization of CAN Infotech is a new experience for us, and we hope that people from all across the country and the world will be able to virtually visit the exhibition,” said Nawaraj Kunwar, President of the CAN Federation.
IME Pay and Smart Choice Technologies are co-sponsors of the new edition of CAN Infotech. Other sponsors include Worldlink Communications, Sunway Business School, Dishome Fibernet, Nepal Telecom, Namaste Pay, S. Power, and Digicom.
Since 1995, the concert has been held on a regular basis. “All ICT entrepreneurs and stakeholders touched by the COVID-19 pandemic will benefit from the event. We will make an effort to bring in new technologies and advancements in the field of information technology “CAN Federation stated.
Meanwhile, the CAN Federation hosted a B2B ICT Commercial Summit in Kathmandu ahead of the event, where ICT entrepreneurs from throughout the country came to discuss the sector’s business possibilities. They’ve also voiced reservations regarding CAN Infotech.
In the info-tech expo, there will be many sectors such as branding, ICT, accessories, game parlour, product launching, robotics, e-waste management, wi-fi, learning center, and employment center.
It will also sell operating system software, networking and cloud solutions, mobile phones and solutions, electrical and electronics, security solutions, solar power systems, inverters, UPS, laptop and desktop computers, printers, power systems, accessories, antivirus software, banking solutions, and hard disks.
