Devendra Paudel, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, has promised to address long-standing issues in the education sector.
He promised that issues with the management of temporary and contract school teachers, as well as post-adjustment issues, will be addressed.
He was speaking at a Nisikhola Rural Municipality event organized by the CPN (Maoist Centre) today to exchange wishes on the occasion of the Tihar and Chhath festivals. “The Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister’s Office have been consulted on this topic. The procedure for resolving the issue will begin soon” he stated.
He committed to devote his term as education minister, in conjunction with the Ministry of Finance, on the development of the education sector.
He stated that the expansion of educational infrastructure and the repair of school buildings damaged by natural catastrophes would continue.
