Embassy of India Releases COMPEX 2026 Exam Schedule, Shift Timings, and Mock Tests

The Embassy of India, Kathmandu has released the official examination schedule, session shift timings, and online mock test links for the COMPEX 2026 Scholarship Scheme. The notice, issued by the Education Wing, applies to all registered candidates appearing for computer-based tests for undergraduate courses in Indian universities and colleges. Examinations are scheduled from 28 September 2026 to 03 October 2026 across designated examination centres in Nepal.

The Computer Based Test (CBT) covers English, Physics, Chemistry (EPC), Mathematics, and Biology across multiple shifts per day with allocated durations of 120 minutes or 60 minutes depending on the subject paper.

Comprehensive examination schedule and shift timings

All examinees must follow the official shift timings, gate entry windows, and test hours outlined below (Nepal Time):

Candidates can access official practice assessments to familiarize themselves with the navigation, layout, and functionality of the computer-based testing interface:

To launch the test environment, open the link and click the "Sign in" button directly without requiring credentials.

Facilitation centre and admit card grievance resolution

A dedicated Facilitation Counter operates at the Education Wing of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu on 25 September (Friday) and 26 September (Saturday) 2026 from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

Candidates who face non-receipt of admit cards, missing photographs, or incorrect signature data must report in person with:

1. 06 passport-size photographs
2. Copy of completed online application form
3. Bank voucher or deposit challan for application fees paid
4. Mark sheets and character certificates of Class 10 and Class 12
5. Original Citizenship Certificate or valid Nepalese Passport

Mandatory instructions for candidates

1. The online admit card is issued four days prior to the candidate's scheduled exam date and sent directly to the registered email address.
2. Examinees must arrive at their allotted examination centre 90 minutes (1½ hours) prior to their scheduled shift commencement for verification and mandatory physical frisking.
3. The main entry gates will strictly close at the designated gate closing time; no candidate will be allowed entry under any circumstances after gate closure.
4. Entry into the examination hall is strictly prohibited without a physical printout of the E-Admit Card and an original photo identity card (Nepalese Citizenship Card or Passport).
5. Candidates must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the 6-day examination window from 28 September to 03 October 2026. The Embassy of India does not provide TA/DA or expense reimbursements.
