If you might have noticed and have not been using the Messenger App, then you might not have much time till your message disappears from The Facebook App.
A Facebook spokesperson told that many people were noticing the change on Wednesday. But still this minor change have not affected the mobile users who use Facebook through mobile.
The change will only affect users of the iPhone and Android app; messages will remain in the iPad and Windows Phone app.
It’s not clearly exactly how long it will take for all of Messenger’s holdouts to see the change, but the spokesperson said it will continue to roll out over the coming weeks.
Since April, The Facebook has prompted the users to download the Messenger App. The Facebook had announced that they would be making the switch and update The Messenger App. Many users were considerate if their previous messages would be deleted but Facebook have confirmed that their message would not be deleted even after updating the app. Thus, they would be able to access the message even after downloading the app.
Since spring, Facebook has been ramping up to this change. According to the announcement of Facebook, the users must download the app.
Last week, Messenger holdouts received an email alerting them their messages would be moved over to the Messenger app in the very near future.
Facebook has maintained switching to Messenger which will benefit all the users as messaging with Messenger is faster and more reliable, though some users are unhappy about the move .
The app was first launched in 2011. According to the company reports, the app has already has more than 200 million monthly users.
