On Wednesday, the price of gold in the Nepali market fell by Rs 600 per tola, after climbing steadily since Dashain. In the domestic market, the price of gold has been set at Rs 92,000 per tola.
On Tuesday, the yellow metal was traded at Rs 92,600 per tola.
Standard gold is currently priced at Rs 91,500 per tola, up from Rs 92,100 per tola on Tuesday, according to data supplied by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of silver has dropped by Rs 15 per tola to Rs 1,250 per tola, according to the federation.
On Tuesday, silver was trading at Rs 1,265 per tola. The federation has set the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the international market’s transaction price.
