Kick Joins the 100 Crore Club in Box Office

Salman Khan’s starrer ‘Kick’ is really doing so well in the box office. Kick, directed by Sajid Nadiadwala starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, did really well at the first day release with many theaters being houseful. After being appraised by the critic and adored by thousands of fans, ‘Kick’ is already a blockbuster hit, and it has already reached the 100 Cr club. While the figures for the sixth day of Kick’s business suggest that Sajid Nadiadwala’s entertainer made approximately Rs 21 crores on Wednesday alone.

The collections of ‘Kick’ have now touched Rs 147.7 crores at the domestic box office, as per a news report in Koimoi. So far, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘Kick’ is really doing well at the theaters and its really giving other films a run for their money. And now they have crossed the coveted 100 cr barrier on Tuesday which was a holiday on Eid. With their trailer, it already created a buzz and Salman Khan’s films are always awaited by the fans worldwide because they all know that they are going to get their money’s worth. Salman’s various movies have joined the coverted 100 Crore Club and Kick has joined that list as well.

Now, after already reaching the 100 crore club, the main question is that whether it will cross the 200 crore mark. Only few films like 3 idiots, Chennai Express and Dhoom 3 have been able to reach the 200 crore mark. Salman Khan’s films might have reached the 100 crore club but none of his films have reached the 200 crore club at domestic box office. Overall, Salman Khan did lose to his friend Aamir Khan in reaching the 100 crore mark fast as Dhoom 3 reached the 100 crore club in just 3 days and Kick took 5 days to reach the 100 crore club. But, Salman has beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Chennai Express’ with its business on the sixth day of its release. ‘Chennai Express’ that released on Eid last year made around Rs 137 crore on day 6 while ‘Kick’ has done more business at the box office, according to Koimoi report.
