Local government provides relief to the families of those killed in the landslide

Families of those killed in the disaster have received aid from Shivnath Rural Municipality. Cash assistance has been provided to the relatives of those who died in a landslide on October 19, according to Chairman Karna Singh Saund.

Bhanu Parki, Devan Parki, and Pavitra Parki’s families have been given a check for Rs. 150,000 in cash, calculated at a rate of Rs. 50,000 each person slain. According to the rural municipality, the relief was supplied in accordance with the decision of the village level disaster management committee.

On behalf of the municipality, food was also handed to the victim’s relatives. The District Disaster Management Committee had previously distributed aid to the families of individuals who had died in the landslide.

Acting Chief District Officer Khagendra Bharti led a team to the victim’s home and paid Rs. 120,000 for final rites.

According to police, four persons were murdered, two were injured, and one was missing, while nine houses were fully destroyed and 13 were partially destroyed, killing 31 cattle. According to the District Disaster Management Committee, 2,700 hectares of paddy and other crops have been devastated.
