On June 15, 1951 A.D., Nepal’s Public Service Commission (Log Sewa Aayog) was created. The Commission is in charge of selecting qualified candidates for various empty civil service positions as required by the Nepalese government.
Since its inception, PSC’s continuity has never been jeopardized. The Public Service Commission is an autonomous constitutional body under Nepal’s current constitution, which was adopted in 2007 (BS 2063).
