Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha has cautioned that any manipulating in the name of foreign employment will be dealt with harshly.
On Wednesday afternoon, he received a memorandum from office-bearers of the Unified Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Organization Nepal, in which he emphasized the importance of entrepreneurs’ unavoidable participation in making the foreign employment sector dignified, secure, and well-managed.
He stated that anyone engaging in wrongdoings would face severe consequences from the state. He revealed that plans were in the works to establish a distinct mechanism for investigating and responding to problems in the foreign employment industry.
The Minister also urged foreign employment entrepreneurs to assist his effort to investigate problems in the industry, develop a new system, and make it more dignified and well-managed.
Ek Narayan Aryal, the ministry’s secretary, said that issues in the foreign employment industry might be avoided if everyone worked together.
He revealed that the administration has proposed establishing a foreign employment police force to investigate anomalies and illegal actions that occur during overseas employment.
