Recently, a talented daughter of our motherland Nepal made her mother proud. Sworima Shakya, a 12 year old Nepali Student, made Nepal proud by securing first position in the recently held “World Handwriting Competition-2014” in New York, USA.
According to the official website of the organizer, in “Artistic Handwriting” category of the competition, under age group of 13-19 years age group, she secured the 1st position. She really made Nepal proud by achieving such a great achievement in an internationally country. She went to the competition as a participant for Nepal and she really did a great job.
But, this is not only the first time she ever took part in a handwriting contest. Before being the winner of World Handwriting Competition 2014 , she took part in cursive handwriting competition and secured 2nd position. And one year later, she’s the winner of World Handwriting Competition 2014. Her hard work really came to fruition and we, all Nepalese are proud for her outstanding achievement.
