Nepalwide Strike Has General Effect On The Daily Living

The Communist Party of Nepal, led by Netra Bikram Chand, has called for a statewide general strike, which has had an impact on daily living.

The general population is inconvenienced because there are fewer public cars operating today than in prior days.

The strike has impacted the industrial sector and enterprises in general.

Meanwhile, 86 people forcibly imposing the shutdown have been apprehended in various parts of the nation, according to Phanindra Mani Pokharel, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Although there were less large public vehicles on the road, private and government cars were unaffected.

The Nepal bandh was called by the Netra Bikram Chand-led group to pressure the government to reverse the price hike on gasoline items. Meanwhile, six bandh enforcers in Kathmandu have been apprehended, according to the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu.

Ramesh Kumar Basnet, a spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu, said that transit vehicles are working smoothly and that life is returning to normal.
