PABSON Says "No Schools at 9, Start Offices at 8 A.M."

The private school organizers had said that it would be difficult for them to start school at 9 A.M. in the morning. The Government had earlier decided to start the school timing from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M from new academic session.

The President of PABSON, Mr. Tikaram Puri says that it would be difficult to implement the work plan made by the government. He also admits that it would be difficult for the students to reach school at 9 A.M and to feed lunch to children. It will be difficult for the students to manage their timetable of waking up, eating foods and getting ready for school.

It would be better if we think about making easy for children. We can’t give trouble to children for making us easier, admits Mr. Puri. It would be better if we revise and start the timing of governmental and private offices at 8 A.M. and provide easy access to transportation to students. There would be a difficulty while implementing the decision of starting school at 9 A.M.

The Guardian Committee Says that the Government didn’t take our opinion. They said that it was a one-way decision made by the government of revising the timing of school at 9 to 4. The president of Guardian Committee, Mr. Keshab Puri says that the government didn’t discuss our opinion regarding it and we wouldn’t hinder the government. We take the decision of the government of decreasing traffic jams in a positive way.

The Education Ministry has been discussing the revised timing of the Schools with the related personnel. To get the necessary suggestions, the committee has been made where there are representatives of PABSON, NPABSON, HISSAB, Traffic Police, Guardian Representative as well as representatives of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.
