Students confront with Indian BSF and have Nepali flag flying high at the border

A student group from ANNFSU (All Nepal National Free Students Union) have removed the board kept by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at an encroached area in Ilam by India. The territory claimed to be of India as per their current political map is where Nepalese people lived for ages. The claim thus has resulted in outrage among the people here in Nepal.

R.C. Lamichhane, leader of ANNFSU mentioned that they have had a confrontation with the BSF during the process. One of the BSF members is said to have suffered an injury during the confrontation. No injuries have been reported at the Nepalese side. The students sang anti-India slogans during the protest.
