Students, People Aged 40 Getting First Dose Of Vero Cell In KMC

In KMC, students and those over the age of 40 are receiving their first dose of Vero Cell.

From today, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has prepared eight additional inoculation centers to administer the first Vero Cell vaccine against COVID-19.

The first dosage of Vero Cell vaccination is being administered by the KMC to adults aged 40 and up, as well as grade 11, 12, and university level examinees who have completed 18 years.

The vaccination drive, which began at 10:00 a.m. and will end at 5:00 p.m., according to the KMC.

The service is available from the inoculation centres of 32 wards of the KMC and eight other stations including Radha Swami Isolation Centre, Armed Police Force Hospital, Bir Hospital, Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital and Birendra Military Hospital.

Hari Kunwar, the Chief of KMC’s Urban Health Department, said that the vaccine will be available on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday ( August 24).

Similarly, the KMC has advised people to show up at vaccination clinics with a document that clearly states their age and identity.
