The Tribhuvan University (TU) has suggested that physical classes begin on Friday.
According to Yogendra Prasad Dahal, Chief of TU’s Information and Public Relations Division, a meeting of the TU Executive Council on Sunday authorized colleges to run physical education classes by collaborating with local levels for risk control and adopting precautions against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Physical classes at the TU’s affiliated and constituent campuses were suspended on April 29 due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. Since then, the campuses have been offering virtual classes since the government has imposed prohibitive measures to stop COVID-19 from spreading further.
Campuses, departments, and schools, according to Dahal, have been ordered to arrange physical lessons as much as feasible.
