“We are pleased to be able to provide the people of Nepal with more than 4.1 million doses of COVID vaccine.” “With these vaccines, more than 10% of the population can be fully immunized,” said Dr. Stephan Russek, ChargĂ© d’Affaires of the German Embassy, according to the release.

Dr. Russek gave the immunizations to Birodh Khatiwada, Minister of Health and Population, earlier today.

The immunizations will be distributed by the Ministry of Health and Population in 57 districts beginning December 19, with a focus on youngsters aged 12 to 18.

Despite this, continuous public health actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as vaccination, will remain crucial. This includes following testing and quarantine procedures, wearing a mask, maintaining good hand hygiene, and maintaining a physical separation of at least two meters.
