According to the Ministry of Health and Population, more over 70% of the population in the Kathmandu Valley has been properly vaccinated against COVID-19 (MoHP). According to the Ministry of Health, 73% of the target population in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur has received the full dose of vaccines.
A total of 1,622,441 persons have gotten the first dose of vaccine, with 1,562,734 receiving the complete dose. The target population for immunisation in the Kathmandu Valley is 2,129,773 people over the age of 18.
In Kathmandu district, 78 percent of the target population received the first treatment, while 74% received the entire dose, according to the government. In the Kathmandu district, the target population is 1,500,062.
In Lalitpur district, 76 percent of the target population received the first dose, while 69 percent of the target population received the complete dose. In Lalitpur, the goal population is 382,860 people, while in Bhaktapur, it is 246,851. Similarly, 63 percent of the target population received the first dosage and 75% received the complete dose.
According to the Ministry of Health, 7,456,384 (33.3%) people have received their first dose of vaccination and 6,285,740 (28.9%) have been fully vaccinated across the country. According to the latest MoHP data, 289,381 vaccination doses were provided in the last 24 hours.
