Caloriemetry

Caloriemetry is the branch of physics which deals with the measurement of quantity of heat energy exchange between the two or more than two bodies. A device or a vessel which is used to measure the quantity of heat is called calorimeter.
1 calorie in a CGS system is the amount of heat required to change the temperature of 1gm of water through 10C.
