According to Kouzes & Posner (2009), a shared vision is a picture that everyone in the company carries in their heads and hearts. It gives a direction to the people. It is essential for the growth of an organization. An organization can only move ahead at a good rate if the organization and the employees have a collective shared vision.

Assistance for Shared Vision

I am associated with Jobs Dynamics, a 360-degree human resources services offering firm headquartered in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu offering recruiting, training, consulting, outsourcing and complete human resource solutions at various levels (Jobs dynamics, n.d.). The company set their vision of being one stop solution for human resource management service. Here, I had a vision on working in this human resource management field, but association with this company has helped me gain clarity on the way I can move towards my vision. As, we share a common vision on human resource management, I have been able to work effectively and efficiently. My seniors or say mentors help me in my confusions and help me decide the path I should take.

My efforts in mobilizing a Shared Vision

"A poorest person in the world is a person without a dream” (Munroe, 2007). A person should dream and work rigorously to achieve it. However, it doesn’t happen overnight and one should take small steps to reach the desired goal. At times, we miss out on our works resulting to a number of meetings. Discussions are necessary but working to achieve it is more necessary for me. As a result, I believe in working more than spending time on discussions. I push my team members to give me the smallest of details and keep the meetings precise and to the point.
