About Manipal Medical College of Medical Sciences

Eligibility
Eligibility Requirements (XIIth/A Level or other equivalent qualifying examination marks)
At least 50% marks in Physics (P), Chemistry(C), Biology (B) and English (E) and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks at the XIIth/A Level or equivalent examination (which, in general, corresponds to minimum βCβ grades for Sri Lankan and βDβ grades for International boards e.g. EDEXCEL/Cambridge etc.)
If English does not opt at the βAβ Level, then at least 50% marks in English at βOβ Level or equivalent examination
NEET/SAT score sheet of the present academic year must be provided, wherever applicable
TOEFL/IELTS is not required
PS: Admission will be subject to the Kathmandu University norms and qualifying an entrance exam conducted by the Kathmandu University, for which all applicants are advised to prepare themselves (applicant accepted based on NEET/SAT will not be required to undertake the Kathmandu University / Govt of Nepalβs entrance exam).

Scholarship
MCOMS is a self-financing institution. 20% MBBS seats are reserved for the Government of Nepal nominated candidates and MCOMS does not charge any fees from these students. MCOMS also supports other Nepalese students with subsidised tuition fees.
Apart from the MBBS scholarships, about 5% of the Nepalese students are awarded 100% scholarships to pursue Nursing courses.
