Introduction to Bachelor Degree (Hons.) in Computer Networking and IT Security
This course emphasizes all aspects of computer networking and IT security, including wired and wireless protocols. It covers areas of prevention, detection, and correction, as well as a professional education in the theory and practice of computing, with special emphasis on the technology and applications central to IT security. The aim of this course is to help students work actively with or in an IT security development team, specializing in all aspects of network security.

Qualification Required
The candidate applying for B. Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Networking and IT Security program must have:
- Successfully completed twelve-years schooling/ PCL in science or any other streams or equivalent from any University, board or institution.
- Must Secure at least 2nd division in the 10+2, PCL or equivalent program. Compiled with all the application procedures.
- One should secure the minimum percentage set to get a year wavier. (i.e. usually over 50% to 75% based on universities)
Scope
There are various jobs after completion of B.Sc you may get a job in government sector also you may apply for several other jobs in the IT sector.
Course Syllabus
The 1st year is waived if you can secure usually over 50% to 75% based on universities you’re applying for in the HSEB percentage or A-level grades or equivalent examination grades based on universities provision.
