About metallic balls

If two metallic balls made up of same mass are given charge where one is given positive charge and other is given negative charge. Will there masses change after giving charge on them?

The charge for both the metallic balls change and now won’t be equal either. Electrons and protons are particles that have charge of their own and if they’re passed on to the balls, the charge will certainly change as well.

Understand it this way, to give negative charge to something, you have to insert electrons into it. As electrons are provided in this case, the overall mass of the metallic ball will increase slightly here. Whereas to give a positive charge, you take away those electrons from the item. Which means the opposite will happen here and the mass will decrease slightly. In both the cases, the mass of the balls will change.
