Yes, indeed friction is a necessary evil. It’s because of:

• Without friction between the feet and the ground, it would not have been possible to walk.
• The tire of the motor cars and cycles are rough to increase the friction.
• In absence of the friction, the brakes of the motor car won’t work well.
