Nepal Open University (NOU), Central Office, Manbhawan, Lalitpur has officially published the final and revised list of selected students for scholarships and tuition fee waivers (शिक्षण शुल्क छुट). The official circular, issued on 2083-06-21 (Ashwin 21, 2083 / October 7, 2026) under Dispatch No. 083/84 (Ref. 103), covers undergraduate and graduate students across the Faculty of Management and Law.
Following the initial scholarship publication on 2083-06-14, which provided a seven-day window for claims and objections (दावी विरोध), the university scholarship committee investigated all submitted petitions. Based on the verified findings, the final approved recipient lists have been ratified across the 2077, 2078, 2079, and 2080 admission intakes.
Note: The scholarship final list for Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) second-year students of the 2080 intake has been temporarily suspended due to technical reasons (प्राविधिक कारणबस स्थगन गरिएको छ).
Fee waiver amount and coverage details
The scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver (शिक्षण शुल्क छुट) across the respective semester and year modules for all approved recipients. The exact numerical rupee sums (Rs.) for the subsidized tuition fees are not specified in the notice, as fee structures vary by academic program.

Important Directives and Terms for Recipients
- The Nepal Open University Scholarship Committee reserves all rights to amend any unintentional clerical or computational errors in the published list.
- If any recipient is found to have submitted falsified documents or inaccurate financial/social disclosures, the tuition fee waiver will be immediately revoked at any stage.
- In accordance with the Nepal Open University Scholarship Distribution Directive 2075 (with amendments), students employed in officer-level positions in governmental bodies, public corporations, registered NGOs/INGOs, or private educational institutions are strictly disqualified from underprivileged and inclusive category quotas.
- Any student improperly obtaining funds under these categories will be subject to complete recovery of tuition fee waiver amounts under prevailing Nepali legislation.
