The immunization program at Teku’s Shukraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital will resume today.
The hospital had already postponed the COVID-19 immunization for a week after more than 50 health workers became ill with the coronavirus on Sunday.
The immunization effort at the hospital will resume after the Health Section of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) and the Nepal Red Cross Society agreed to supply human resources, according to hospital director Dr Manisha Rawal.
Today, at 10:00 a.m., the immunization push will begin. Anti-COVID vaccines have been administered at the hospital in first, second, and booster doses.
